More than just a place to live and work

Oak Street Place is more than just a place to live and work – it's a community, and any good community comes with amenities for its people. When Oak Street Place was realized back before many people spent time downtown, the motto, "Live. Work. Play.," was the vision, and now more than ever, it sums up Downtown Laurel's pioneer multi-use building perfectly.

Lee's Coffee & Tea

Open Mon-Thu 7am-8pm • Fri-SAT 7am-9pm •
sun 11am-4pm

Opened hand in hand with Oak Street Place, Lees's offers coffee and espresso using both local and esteemed coffee roasters' beans, scones and other fresh baked goods, and delicious lunch options including their famous BLT with Aunt Lee's Pimento & Cheese sandwich. All of that plus the relaxed atmosphere and new addition of Fridays at Lee's, a rotation of Friday night entertainment continues to make Lee's  undoubtedly Laurel's favorite cafe.

Gift Shop at Oak Street Place

open Tue-Sat 11am-3pm
or shop online 24/7

The original vision of Oak Street Place included retail shops, so naturally the Gift Shop is the perfect addition. Opened in October 2017, Gift Shop at Oak Street Place brings small-batch products & paper goods hand-crafted by Southern artisans + thoughtfully curated books to the community. It's also the place you can find Lee's Coffee & Tea merchandise.

Big city feel in small town Laurel

When you work or live at Oak Street Place, you'll quickly forget you're in a small town in Mississippi being just above a coffee shop/cafe and retail store and right outside, you're steps away from all the downtown historic charm and more great places to dine and shop.
