New Art Show at Oak Street Place Gallery Opens November 7

A new show is coming to Oak Street Place Gallery on November 7, 2011. We are pleased to welcome Jodie Brickson, a calligrapher and illustrator from Petal, Mississippi. Her show will hang in the Oak Street Place Gallery above Lee's Coffee and Tea from November 7 - February 14, 2012.

    Last week, a young man called the office very excited about finding our apartments online.  He was moving late Spring, but wanted to go ahead and reserve an apartment.  When I asked him if he was familiar with our location, he said that he hadn't yet toured downtown Laurel, Maryland but was looking forward to doing that.  I then had to tell him that our apartments would prove to be a very long commute for him, Mississippi to Maryland!  He was shocked to find out we were in MS...
